Study start date: January 1, 2020

Actual date on which the first participant was enrolled.

This study aims to look into the traits and treatment outcomes related to a specific type of lung cancer, called SMARCA4-deficient advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). By examining existing medical records, the study seeks to better understand how this form of cancer behaves and how effective current treatments are. This information is particularly valuable for people with this rare type of lung cancer, as it might help improve future treatment options and patient care by providing insights into which therapies work best. Participants in this study do not receive any new treatment or intervention. Instead, researchers analyze past data from patients who have already been treated for their lung cancer. The main focus is on measuring how long patients live without their cancer getting worse, known as progression-free survival. This is done by looking at the time between the start of their first treatment and when their cancer first showed signs of progressing. The study's retrospective nature means it carries no additional risks to participants beyond those they faced during their initial treatment.
