Study start date: August 1, 2025

Actual date on which the first participant was enrolled.

The study investigates the effects of Kegel exercises on patients who have undergone a common prostate surgery called transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). This surgery is often performed to relieve urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate. The study aims to see if doing Kegel exercises after surgery can help improve recovery and overall outcomes. Men who have this surgery often experience issues like urinary incontinence, and the study hopes to find if these exercises might provide a simple way to enhance recovery and improve quality of life. Participants are divided into two groups. One group performs Kegel exercises after their surgery, while the other group receives standard post-operative care without the exercises. The progress of each participant is monitored at 1, 3, and 6 months after the surgery to see how well they are recovering. The study does not specify any particular risks but is intended to observe how Kegel exercises might benefit post-surgical recovery.
