This study aims to determine how effective a specific type of therapy called Dissociation-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DF-CBT) is for people experiencing dissociative symptoms and disorders. These symptoms are common among individuals with psychiatric disorders, but there is currently no proven effective treatment. DF-CBT is promising and based on a well-supported scientific model, which makes it an exciting area to explore. Finding an effective treatment could greatly improve the quality of life for many people dealing with these symptoms. Participants in this study will receive DF-CBT, which is a type of therapy focused specifically on addressing dissociative symptoms. The study will evaluate how well this therapy works by observing changes in symptoms over time. This approach does not involve medication but rather focuses on therapeutic techniques. The study does not list specific outcomes being measured, but it generally seeks to identify improvements in the participants' symptoms. Understanding the effectiveness of this therapy can help guide future treatment strategies for dissociative disorders.
