This study explores the impact of virtual museum visits on symptoms and anxiety levels in patients undergoing hemodialysis, a treatment for severe kidney failure. Dialysis is crucial as it helps manage symptoms and improves life quality, but it can also lead to negative effects like fatigue, anxiety, and disrupted fluid balance. Addressing these issues is vital for maintaining the overall health of patients. This research looks at whether engaging in virtual museum tours can be a helpful, low-cost way to reduce these symptoms and improve mental well-being, offering an alternative to traditional drug treatments. Participants in the study will be hemodialysis patients who will experience virtual tours of museums provided through an online platform. They will choose from 53 museums and participate in five virtual visits to see if this activity can alleviate their dialysis-related symptoms and anxiety. The effectiveness of these virtual visits will be measured using various tools like the Dialysis Symptom Index and the Beck Anxiety Scale. Results will be analyzed to understand any changes in symptoms or anxiety levels, providing insight into the benefits and any potential risks of using virtual museum tours as a therapeutic approach.
