This study focuses on a drug called MKC-442, which is used in combination with at least two other anti-HIV drugs. The participants are individuals who have previously received treatment with nucleoside reverse transcriptase and protease inhibitors, but not with non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. The main goal is to evaluate if this combination is safe and effective for this specific group of patients. The significance of this study lies in its potential to provide a new treatment option for HIV patients who have already been treated with certain types of medications.
